My ROG 5 just died suddenly, wont charge, wont turn on

phone already  had some issues with battery percentage being stuck at 85% since I last updated it. It used to suddenly switch off these days but did switch on after sometime. today it switched off automatically and won't switch on even after holding the power and volume buttons. it's just been 2 months since I bought it. I've been buying asus phones right from the beginning and this is the first time I'm facing this grave issue.

actually, I'm out of warranty and now the motherboard replacement charges are going to be more than the cost of phone. thanks for your advice tho
i wont be covered in warranty since device is more than a year old so maybe this is game over for me

Does that mean they lose their data on replacing motherboard as the device storage is not volatile ( stored on external memory card ).

How things would go in case of device not getting turned on due to fatal software update... and how the data would be recovered

I am facing the same issue, where my Asus ROG 5s got switched off suddenly and unable to turn on.

Recently my device got an update for Android 13. Earlier it used to have issues where the logo used to be there and got stuck.
