Gboard setting reset when TwinApp is enabled

Model Name: ROG 5
Firmware Version: 18.0840.2104.56
Rooted or not: No
Frequency of Occurrence: very often (within an hour)
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):
Gboard settings keep resetting on its own. Especially when the phone is in off-screen state. Issue happens at least 4-5 times a day.
There was an earlier thread stating root cause in TwinApps. However, the thread is locked and no further updates on when can the issue be resolved. the issue is still open and shouldnt it be tracked until an update really fix the issue?

I don't have a date but we're working on it. I believe we will have a fix soon

I'm having the the same issue with Gboard with .56 version, with settings reverting to default. For now I've run with Swiftkey. But would be nice to have Gboard again.

Sadly still not in the latest release.

I'm only use Whatsapp for TwinApp.
For temporary workaround, I register one of the account under Whatsapp Bisness and disable TwinApp for me to continue using Gboard.
Hopefully near future will be fixed.
