Model Name: Asus Rog Phone 3, 8Gb-256Gb, international version bought in Switzerland (it is not the Chinese version)
Firmware Version: 17.0823.2008.70
Rooted or not: not
Frequency of Occurrence: after firmware update
APP Name & APP Version: Google pay (version 2.116.328438545) and PlayStore (version 2181921 [0] [PR] 330823897l)
After the firmware update of the 21st of September 2020, I am facing problems using Google Pay and Google Play. The message I got on google pay while trying to pay in store is that my phone is not "Play protected" anymore, hence I cannot use the google pay app. I do not why this happened since I never rooted my phone. SOLVE THE ISSUE ASAP

Please just give it a day or two. It will get approved if it hasn't already

Hey @pepperumo ,

Try clearing data for Google Play Store and Google Play Services, then Reboot.

In about 30 minutes after, you should be able to see if your device is certified, in Play Store's settings.
