famweitatNo you don't, Rog5 has an actual hardware error. While you just got a failed update. Flashing RAW firmware will more than likely solve the issue.I'm having the same issue since ww_18.0410.2108.158 update. Obviously, this appears to be a similar wifi issue that happened to ROG Phone 5. We are one of the unlucky users that experience this on ROG phone 3. Not many people can understand us as the issue happened randomly and there is no simple fix to the problem.

DanishbluntYup no bypass charging after .158 update for me 🥲https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/201475#Comment_201475

@raniyako86 Same for you.
What likely is causing this is some weird interaction with some firmwares locking certain partitions flashing not all of the firmware. @Saifuddin has this issue where the an update somehow locks partitions which makes him brick his bypass charging functionality after .158 update. I havent seen any global models having this issue, this is always with tencent models with WW firmware, I'm not sure what is causing it and why only certain devices are affected.

DanishbluntThank u mate for your answer.. i send the device to the repair centre and will see what their response will be… if they decide to charge me for the repair I’ll choose not to and will try your solutionhttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/201475#Comment_201475
