I have rog 5 phone and its wifi and hotspot not turning on after a system update. whenever I try to turn on wifi it turns off itself and doesn't turn on at all.

I am curious, what android version and firmware build your phone is running on? May be these details can shed more light into possible failure reasons and solution via applicable troubleshooting.
