Aero Case covering up the vent.

After a month of using the phone, i decided to finally use the stock case for better grip when gaming and I just realized that the case covers up the tiny aerodynamic system vent. Is this on purpose? The side cutout doesn't even fit the see-through aerodynamic heatsink design properly and it covers up the "Aerodynamic" word.

Edit: upon googling the Aero case, it seems like mine/Ph version is of a different design.

As you can see, the cutouts are not similar.
I have the 865+,12/512GB Classic version.

Please guys dont use this case. Buy a good sturdy case before you drop your phone. Mine dropped for the first time and screen broke and gave me a dead display.

Mine isn't faulty. It's just terribly designed and somehow, someone from the ROG team approved it.

It's a mistake. The case is diff from what many of us have received in India and yeah like you said I wonder how it passed QC

I have the same case it covers up the vent... Unfortunately I live in Bahrain (middle east) and there is no service centers in this country this is disappointing... QC in ASUS are not doing their jobs right
