Thank you for your messages.
I followed the above link and installed mtrack, besides synaptics touchpad drivers. I tried ukui and xorg default drivers, too.
I am still not able to get touchpad working on Ubuntu 21.04 and Arch Linux.
Any help greatly appreciated.
