My friend's laptop is dead and he lost the charger. I thought if he knows the model of laptop, then I could ook up how many volts it needs to charge and then he could buy a new charger with that amount of volts. However, he doesn't know the model. Is there a way to find that out without turning it on? (Because its battery is dead.)
