The internal display on my FA506IE has become very very dim, almost to the point of being impossible to see what is on screen,
I have already tried, resetting the BIOS settings, Replacing the screen, and Checking the connection points, In the process of getting a new display cable in to try and replace that, I am hoping its not the motherboard, I cannot find any replacements. I am somewhat at my wits end, I only got the laptop a few months ago from amazon, I'm sure any warranty I had with Asus is expired or possibly voided. Any ideas or solutions would be much appreciated

If you try to enter the BIOS, has the situation improved?

If the issue persists, it may indicate a hardware component failure, I would suggest you bring back your laptop to our service center for further confirmation.

I have replaced the Screen and the Display Cable myself, after replacing the screen, there was no improvement. After I replaced the Display Cable, there was some improvement but still not back to normal, the screen was still very dim but nowhere near as dim, i can actually see things on the display, But it is glitchy and i am unable to adjust the brightness.

Due to our inability to assess the reliability of self-replacing components, we can only recommend that you send it for repair to verify the actual condition of the laptop. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
