Hello all.
I have read and tried https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1044458
I am having trouble with a fresh instal of Windows. The installer does not see my SSD.
I have tried downloading the RST drivers by searching for my serial number on the support/download site. (Exact model number is FX516PE). I installed Ubuntu, then installed a Windows Virtual Box, and used that to extract the drivers from the EXE.
After trying the installer again it reads the driver files on a second USB flash drive (two options 9A0B, one managed and one not).
After selecting one it scans for a while but fails with the message
No new devices drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK.
I have tried version 19 and 18 from the Asus Website, and I have also tried every other IRST driver I could find lying around the internet.
Things I have tried
I am now out of ideas.
Just in case, this is all my BIOS settings
Armoury Create Control Enabled
Hyper-Threading Enabled
Intel Virtualisation Tech Enabled
Intel AES-NI Enabled
VT-d Enabled
SMART Self Test On
Network Stack Disabled
USB Mass Storage Drive Enabled
DVMT Pre-Allocated 64M
Enable VMD Controller Enabled <- Tried Both
Thunderbold Security No
Fast Boot Enabled <- Tired Both
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know...

@Falcon_ASUS, have you managed to find anything out?

@JonathanPeel
After confirmation by the technical team, we would like to request your assistance in verifying whether this SSD has been changed to a GPT partition and removing all configured partitions. Thank you.

@Falcon_ASUS, I got this working, I appreciate your help.
For your records, and for feedback, I borrowed a computer and used Rufus to copy the ISO to USB.
I don't know why this makes the installer work, but it did.
You guys can try remember this if someone else has this trouble 😄
