Armoury Crate Issue G713RS Laptop

Why did the latest version (5.4.8.0) of the software change the display from GPU temperature to frequency on the home screen? I am unable to revert it and I have noticed that my laptop has been reaching high temperatures after the update. The Aurora Sync (Aurora Lighting) feature has also stopped working. The previous version was working fine, and I do not understand why the software was updated when it was not broken,Some users have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but it seems to only cause more issues. This problem needs to be resolved as soon as possible,I would greatly appreciate any information or assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.

Could you please provide a picture and point out what you think is wrong? 
it is also recommended that you try to remove the AC and reinstall it.
