I have two ZenWifi XD6 set up as AIMESH nodes to a RT-AX86U Pro, both on Ethernet 1G backhaul (first priority).
Both XD6 on latest FW, ASUS ZenWiFi XD6 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_23773.
Main Router on latest FW.
One XD6 node keeps disconnecting from the mesh and only a reset and readding as a node will reconnect it.
When connected it works fine.
It keeps happening. I have a syslog but don’t want to add it here due to MAC addresses.
I see others (many) not just here but also on the internet with similar issues.
Why is it so unreliable, when I am using Ethernet backhaul it should be fine; but it doesn’t even drop back to wireless it just drops out completely.
I have logs from before the XD6 got disconnected and I know the MAC address of the XD6 Mesh Unit so I can DM/PM it to ASUS Support if required, but for privacy reasons I will not post it here.
