Wireless Backhaul stability

I have three asus zenwifi xt12. They are intended to replace one Netgear orbi rbr50 and two rbs50. I have to use wireless backhaul. I cannot get the backhaul to be stable. On boot, it is stable and high performance but after a while performance degrades. The 5ghz backhaul drops to the 2.4 ghz band and sometimes loses connection altogether. What can I do to enhance stability and performance?

Hi @Misterbister ,

To better assist you with this issue, we would like to confirm the following:

  1. Firmware update: Please ensure that the firmware of your router and node is up-to-date. You can update the firmware through the router's management interface.
  2. 5GHz channel setting: We recommend that you manually set the 5GHz backhaul channel to 36, 40, 44, or 48 to avoid interference from other wireless devices.
  3. Ethernet connection: Please ensure that the Ethernet cable connecting the router and node is securely connected.
  4. Placement: Please place the router and node in a well-ventilated location without any obstacles to ensure optimal wireless signal transmission.
  5. Factory reset: If the above methods do not resolve the issue, we recommend that you reset both the router and node to their factory settings and reconfigure them. [Wireless Router] When Standard Reset Isn’t Working: Hard Factory Reset - Models list | Official Sup...
  6. When did the issue start: When did this issue start occurring? Have you made any changes to the router or node settings before this?

I have tried all of these steps from before, and no change.
