I have had this router for about 2 weeks now. Randomly EVERYTHING drops and disconnects.

Firmware : : 3.0.0.6.102_38984-g8a9326f_1432-g7f449_BB0B

Sep 16 10:03:30 kernel: WLC_SCB_DEAUTHORIZE error (-30)
Sep 16 10:03:30 wlceventd: wlceventd_proc_event(645): wl0.2: Deauth_ind **:**:**:**:**:**, status: 0, reason: 4-way handshake timeout (f), rssi:-60
Sep 16 10:03:30 kernel: WLC_SCB_DEAUTHENTICATE_FOR_REASON err -30
Sep 16 10:03:30 kernel: WLC_SCB_DEAUTHORIZE error (-30)

Firmware is most up to date.

Router is all default settings.

Done 2 factory resets

This kills ALL wifi and Ethernet.

3.0.0.6.102_38984

Welcome to the forum and sorry to read of your problem!

Search for similar log lines has popped up a similar experience with a RT-BE92U way back towards the end of 2024:

https://zentalk.asus.com/t5/networking/rt-be92u-on-going-random-losses-of-internet-wan-access/td-p/4...

I'm afraid at this point ASUS technicians should probably evaluate the firmware and publish one to prevent this from reoccurring.

Under Advanced Settings -> Administration -> Feedback (tab)

Please fill out the information as detailed as possible including the approximate time it last happened.  (Ideally start the log right after a crash so you can note the time).

I also experience the same issue with the same router and firmware.

**bleep** shame since I just switched to this router to improve connection stability and now this happens...

Same, just got fiber and have had nothing but issues because of this crappy router. Their "support" has no clue and just says to return the device.

At this point, the best solution is to return to using the previous firmware update. This should restore proper operation.
