What you've described points to file errors or a hardware failure.I suggest doing a manual upload of the latest firmware from the ASUS site and/or doing a WPS (factory) reset. If this doesn't improve operation, you need to use the App settings>system...

Short answer is No. This DSL unit only uses WiFi for the backhaul to the main. The LAN ports are for wired clients.
