Hello All, I am facing a weird issue. I have 4 Asus ET8 setup as a route and yhe rest nodes. Back haul via ethernet connected to a gig switch. It use to work perfectly where all the bands were showing. 2Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz and I had my phone connected to the 6Ghz and showing 6E and if I would move around the house it would transfer the phone to different nodes. Recently I started noticing that even though the wifi 6Ghz is enabled only the ET8 that assets as the main router works with 6Ghz the nodes don't work for 6Ghz it will not display it but setting shows that it's enabled and on. When I go close to the main router ET8 it connects to 6Ghz instantly. Not sure what is happening and my suspension is something was messed up.after a firmware update came thru. Any assistance would be appreciated. I did a factory reset and still the same.

It's got to be bad firmware if swapping the bad with good results with the bad now good and good now bad... Usually moderators are on here quite frequently to step up and get technicians/engineers involved. (I did notice that they do get weekends off so hopefully by tomorrow)...

Yea so the original router that I noticed it on this morning I reset the comet setup and moved a node to the router position and then 1 by 1 I added more nodes after the router was setup. The 6ghz was working perfectly once the router was setup and then I moved away from yhe main router and added the 1st node and no 6ghz. Then I added the 3rd and 4th node and still nothing. I even set it up via the backhail to be wireless thinking it may be something along that lime but still the same and then I reverted back to ethernet backhaul. Def so.ething related to firmware. I checked my dad's and noticed same symptoms he has a router and a node and I always connect the 6ghz to the router and if I am sitting right next to node it won't switch.

I am having this same issue now, I also tried downgrading firmwares, doing a full on factory reset and everything. Still 6ghz is only showing up on the "main" Access Point.

I think it is the firmware issue, hope Asus can fix it asap.

Having the exact same issue!
Updated from 3.0.0.4.388_23759-gfd1c030 to 3.0.0.4.388_25112-g0149349. Broke 6G broadcasting for my nodes. Rolled back to the old firmware, issued reset and broadcasting 6G on nodes are still broken.
FYI, I have kept all the settings the same, before and after the firmware upgrade. The firmware is the culprit. Mesh network is now useless for all my nodes and will only broadcast 2G and 5G. 6G will only work on the main router, not the nodes.
Asus needs to fix this asap!
