Over the last six months asuscomm.com addresses have had continuous and ongoing issues resolving. About two months ago there was an outage for a couple of days, where addresses would take some time to resolve. That issue appeared to get corrected, although there was never any sort of announcement from Asus regarding what happened. It is now 5pm EST, and since at least 9am this morning, all asuscomm.com addresses are not resolving at all. The DDNS client is one of the primary reasons that we purchase Asus routers, the VPN server being the next. The VPN server is completely useless if you cannot locate a valid IP address.
What is going on with asuscomm.com DDNS? When will this be corrected, and what is Asus doing to avoid this problem in the future?
