ASUS XT8 connection issue

I have been using two AX6600 as a mesh network in my home for the past 3 years.  No major issues until recently when the node disconnected and LED indicator remained flashing blue.  I powered off and reconnected with no change after it went through start up.  Repeated doing a hard reset.  Repeated doing a factory reset.  I repeated these steps multiple times.  I updated the firmware manually, tried connecting to the router with a network cable while going through the various restarts but to no avail.  The node goes through start up then connects momentarily (solid white and the app shows it's connected to my mesh network) then goes back to flashing blue and disconnects from the mesh network.  After a factory reset it will stay connected a little longer but again reverts back to flashing blue.  Is my node kaput?
