Why is Aura's lightingservice.exe and AacAmbientlighting.exe using so much network?

Why are lightingserive.exe and AacAmbientlighting.exe (part of aura in armory crate) using constant open internet connection?  Also why is it using so much bandwidth?  It is lagging me out and causing streaming to cache. Also, it is using 2 of my CPU cores at 100%.

Honestly, these two programs are acting like malware.

Hello, @Dgrim

Could you please provide the current model number and BIOS version of your motherboard, and confirm if the Armoury Crate update center items have been fully updated?
Apart from the bandwidth occupancy issue and CPU core usage, have you experienced any other abnormalities during usage?
To further investigate your situation, could you share a complete screenshot of the Armoury Crate update center and CPU core usage of the.exe, as well as help record and provide the relevant logs for us to verify further?
For log operation steps, please refer to "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)" and ensure that you have confirmed and checked the "Record Log" option before proceeding with the steps to replicate the issue, such as adjusting RGB lighting effects and Aura Sync.
And kindly record a video simultaneously and provide it to us, allowing us to better correlate the log with the actual Aura Sync settings.
After recording the log and video, please upload them to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link.

Thank you.

I do not have any cloud storage and I am not savvy enough to do the video capture you are asking for. Also I am unable to attach the .logE file that armory crate made. This site keeps saying only jpeg, jpg, gif, png and mp4 are supported.

Hello, @Dgrim

Indeed, that's why we recommend sending the log files through alternative methods.
Alternatively, could you email the log files and screenshots of the Armoury Crate update center as attachments to ASUS_Support_HQ@asus.com ?
I will consolidate the information you provided and forward it to the relevant department for further investigation.

Thank you.

Ok, I will do this. Just a fyi.  It was becoming a real issue having Aura or Aura Creator sending 96,057 B/sec and Receiving 96,057 B/sec constantly, that I was unable to do anything else internet-related. So I uninstalled both Aura and Arua Creator and now my network is no longer being flooded.

Here is a screen cap of Armoy Crate Update Center. The log file I will send to the address you provided.
