I'm installing Windows 11 and the Device Manager reports that the RAID Controller driver is not installed, yet neither the ASUS DriverHub nor Armoury Crate report any missing drivers.
I'm not using the RAID feature.
Does anyone know what the name of that driver is, or what driver it's part of? Searching in the drivers section of the ASUS Support page for this motherboard I see no driver with the word "RAID" listed anywhere.
Thanks to anyone with the answer 🙂

Problem solved.
Even though I'm not using RAID I still needed to install the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Driver that's in the SATA driver download section of the Asus Support website for this mobo.
I found the solution in this post on the rog-forum.asus.com website.
After installing the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Driver V20.2.1.1016 for Windows 11 64-bit driver the missing driver warning disappeared from the Device Manager.
I'm surprised I missed installing this when doing the fresh Win11 install and also that it was not noticed by either ASUS DriverHub nor Armoury Crate ...

Out of curiosity I checked the BIOS settings and confirmed that the Intel Rapid Storage Technology option is OFF. So why is Windows 11 reporting a missing RAID driver? ... <weird>

As Windows 11 will complain of a missing RAID driver, even if the RAID feature is not enabled in the BIOS, ASUS might consider moving the SATA driver from the Utilities section at the bottom of the driver updates webpage and include it with the other drivers (above Utilities).
