Lost SSD Q-latch

Hello,

I recently bought an Z690i Mother Board and it doesn't have SSD Q-latch at bottom SSD. Situation, I just clip top and bottom heatsink to bottom SSD and ignore it, or I have to find another Q-latch for replacement. This picture I got from internet.

May I ask if you recently purchased the ROG STRIX Z690-I GAMING WIFI and came with a missing M.2 Q-Latch package?
Have you had the opportunity to confirm with your dealer regarding any missing accessories?

Hello, Thanks for replying me. I got this motherboard from online market at my country, It come with full accessories with plastic bag, I saw the M.2 Q-latch package for M.2 with backplate too, it in a small plastic bag, but when I follow the document that M.2 Q-latch just for 2242 2260 M.2 SSD, while I'm using an WD SN850x it 2280. and It need a Q-latch at this location(picture). But my motherboard don't have the Q-latch on there.

I know this is my fault for buying things online, but my motherboard till under warranty until 2026, I just want asking can you send me a replacement of this Q-latch or show me where to buy it. I did research and until today, no one has sold it.

Sorry for the delayed response.
After verification, it has been confirmed that the M.2 Q-Latch is universal for all lengths, and there are no specification differences based on the SSD length. We recommend referring to the M.2 installation instructions under "For 2280 length" in the ROG STRIX Z690-I GAMING WIFI user manual to proceed with the installation.

Thank you for replying me, I had read the Z690i rog strix manual. but there no help at all. Follow picture I send bellow, the problem is my rog strix z690i don't have the Q-latch for ssd 2280 for the first place when I'm buy this motherboard. The mobo just have 1 Q-Latch on the ssd top, 1 Q-latch for shorter SSD in the bag follow with the box (you can see the number 2 picture to see how it work It can't clip in the pipe like Q-latch for 2280 SSD), and the bottom ssd on my mobo don't have Q-latch.
