I just got my Asus PN65 and I used MyAsus to test it. Getting error message that something wrong with Asus installed 512GM SSD (Micron_2400_MTFDKBA512QFM). Spent two days updating all drivers, etc... Still got the error messages.
When I used the Microsoft Win11 Apps to test the SSD and when I used the "Simple Test MyAsus) and when I used the Micron SSD Simple Test, ALL was fine. After all my updating/searching, BOTH the MyAsus detailed SSD test and the Micron App detailed SSD test,,, Report Errors. After 3 days of light usage, I notice no SSD performance issues at all.

Laptop brands nowadays are dominated by planned obsolescence trash, will last 2 years at most, and then fail. The only laptop/notebook brand that is built to last SOMEWHAT longer is FRAMEWORK. If you want a reliable long-term PC, get a desktop! SSDs have a limited number of writes/reads on each sector, and to compensate that, they have an algorythm to use first the less used sectors, using sectors equally. Bad thing is it usually dies "at once"! SMART (HD status check) is essential. That's why BIG ssds last way more costing only a bit more. A big SSD is essential to use Windows 10 and 11 that are stupidly bloated systems with very high HD/SSD usage.

Thanks for your view. BUT, I asked a specific question for a specific Asus mini PC and thus not useful to me. My new mini PC is about the size of a small cigar box - a Intel Core Ultra 7, 30GB MD5 RAM, 3 SSDs (two 512GB and a 2TB) running Windows 11 Pro - that means this is "Min Server" and thus not your average Win11 Home. So, lots more Win features, etc. One of the 512GB SSD works fine BUT when you do vendor detailed testing - it has errors.
My old Win10 Pro is like 15 years old and has 16GB RAM, 3 SSDs, and "Commerical Grade HDD". Never had any SSD issues and I run both Native Windows and Native Linux on it.
