Hi @Danfango ,

according to your question, may I ask which BIOS you want to update to?

It is suggest that you can refer to "Scenario 3" in the following link.

Thank you.

Hi many thanks for your reply, I was trying to update the bios to

PB50 BIOS 0902
Version 0902
7.86 MB
2021/10/08
I tried the 40 second holding the power button but it did not seem to work. It mentions to remove the battery but on close inspection the battery does not seem to be on the topside of the motherboard, do you know where the battery is located?. Thanks

Hi @Danfango , thanks for providing the information.

Please note that the warranty does not apply to the products that have been disassembled by users.

May I ask whether you have try to cross test with other monitors or cables?

Whether you can enter to BIOS configuration?

If so, it is suggst that you can load default BIOS setting.

To load the default,

  1. enter BIOS by pressing F2 or DEL on the post screen.
  2. Navigate to the Exit menu.
  3. Select the Load Optimized Defaults option, or you may press F5
  4. Select OK to load the default BIOS values.

You can refer to the following user manual.

Thank you.

Hi I have tried a known good and working monitor and a known good and working HDMI cable, I have also jumpered the clear cmos jumper and still no vision on my monitor, the Mini PC seems to boot as the fan comes on and the power button lights up, the only thing I have been unable to do is remove the cmos battery as it is not visible on the top of the motherboard and indeed if it is underneath the board it looks VERY trick to remove the motherboard from the housing. I would have thought that a recent pc such as this would be able to be recovered from a failed bios update. I am a PC technician of 30 years experience but this one has me stumped.
