Asus laptop not turning on

Hi guys, I have an Asus X515 laptop, I am a student so I make use of it often, I had it for roughly 4 months. The last time I used it was last night. This morning I left it to charge throughout the day and when I got home from college and tried turning it on it wouldn't. I removed the charger and tried but it was still off. I noticed that the battery light was a solid orange even though the laptop was not plugged into a charger. Does anyone know what's going on and how to resolve it?

side note: the battery is internal and cannot be removed from the outside

Hi everyone, yesterday I've managed to get the laptop to turn on. I held the power button down for roughly 30 seconds (referred to as draining static), thereafter the power button lit up and the laptop went on. Hope this helps anyone having the same issue
