Rog ally keeps switching controller mode

I just got my rog ally today and I went to play v rising and every 30 second my game swaps between desktop and game padmode. I have made the game profile in armory crate game pad for the game but it has no effect. This is genuinely annoying af as I have 0 control over my character and stand still and die. How do I fix this

Did you solve this? I have a game that also switches all the time without following the profile I set. I can manually set it to controller but I wish the profile had any effect...
