Fast charging issue with ZenFone 6

Hey All,
From the past week my 6z isn't supporting fast charge.
I tried other fast chargers from Huawei & samsung and still no fast charging. since samsung allows "Smart charging, at least my Phone could be charged while as when using Asus original (charger and cable) pair and Huawei's pair, no charging at all!!
It charges for a few seconds and gives an alert of charging off and keeps on making that noise (ding.... ding .... ding...)
It is fast charging that my fone isn't supporting and shows 6-7 hours to full charge but charges up in 4-5 hours.
Please please suggest a way out or anything that could help.
PS : Schedule charging was off, no battery monitoring of any kind is active.

Sounds like you tried other chargers. Couldn't tell by what you said if you had tried different cables too. If so, those chargers and cables work on other devices still?
its cable issue.. this has been been discussed and solved in other form.Even I personally facing cable issue.. Need to buy new one.
I can confirm this issue exists. I'm using the in box chargwr
It is not cable issue. I tried other fast charging cables from Huawei and Samsung
What i meant was that I tried both fast charger and cable of Different OEM and still no result.
It is still working for the other phone, My charger and cable
It is not. Sometimes if I'm lucky, It shows fast charging for a min or 2 but then stops charging with notification sound in a loop.
If it was cable issue, it should have been that there will be slow charging when using original charger and cable but nothing still...
I've had issues with charging in the past few days as well. The phone doesn't support fast charging anymore. I've tried several chargers that support fast charging but my phone just doesn't fast charge anymore. The chargers work with other phones so I'm sure the problem is with my ZenFone 6. It's a bummer because I love the phone so much.
I found something interesting.
If I Turn on the Schedule charging, and put the timer for more than 4 hours (minimum period), the phone is charging under fast mode (Comparatively less faster but a lot better than normal rate. ) and it charges so till 17% and then 😐️ ... ding.... ding... ding... stops chargingg with the notification comping up in a cycle.. 😩
Could this be a software bug and not a hardware issue.🙄
Try the step mentioned above as a temporary option (as shut down of all stores and stuff) for the urgent 1517% charging.
You can use any charger and you will see the charger will get abnormally heated up in this process.

I love my fone and I don't want it to have another surgery (I had one earlier when my primary speaker stopped working).😕
I tried installing the latest .144 update from the ASUS website and was happy to find that fast charging worked after the update, but after charging the phone once fast charging doesn't work again. I'm currently using normal charging for my phone, which is very slow, but will continue to use it until ASUS rolls out an update or until I can't take it anymore and do a factory reset.
Why do not all users with the same firmware version have this problem? It would be good if Asus explained why this happens only to some users. What causes this problem? Any difference in hardware, different components? Or defective components?

For me fast charging doesn't work occassionally
I have to check everytime whether its fast charging or not..if not plug out and plug in
Sometimes it doesn't even charge....The problem started with .144

I'm trying what u advised and will let you know and update here if it is a success or not after.
Give me 2 days maximum so I can try 2ice and see.
BTW I forgot to mention that my battery performance is as good as it was, only problem is with charging.
I will update in soon.
That was again a disappointment folks.
Also I found something interesting..
If in case the fone is undergoing fast charging (If lucky, it accepts for 2-3 mins) when the batter percentage reaches _7%, It stops fast charging and starts showing the error.
I found this to happen at 7%, 17%, 27% and now 57%. Please check if this is just my observation or an error.
how do I Check this.
My device also facing the same issue since the update which I recently got for VoWifi setting update in India. Throughout the night I charged my phone from 11.30 to 6.30. battery percentage raised from 41% to 92%.
