Lighting armor case inquiry

Hello,
I have the global elite edition (12/512) and have been wanting to buy this case for quite some time now. Problem is the official ASUS store where I bought my unit from doesn't have this on stock for almost 3 months now. My question is would the chinese/tencent version of the case work fine with my unit? Are there compatibility issues? Kindly advise as I don't want to shell out $50 for a paperweight thanks!

For aesthetic purposes that case is great (it can even do some tricks with RGB(Exclusive theme) + the second flash sensor which works exclusively with that case )
Protection wise i dunno but aesthetic wise it's good
