========================================
Hey, there been 2 months I am using ROG Phone 3, nowadays I have noticed a display issue right under Fingerprint Scanner. This is patch square patch clearly visible over 80% brightness in gray, blue, red and other colours except black.
Please check the screenshot attached herewith
I have called service center they said this is because of transparent area of display for Fingerprint Scanner, this is in every phone we made. I have to live with it. But that is very annoying

Judging from his reply I think it's normal for under display fingerprint phones
It is more visible and the mark stays longer in case phone is used more in direct sunlight. I have also faced the issue, but the marks disapppeared after some time.
After how much time it disappeared?? It's is very annoying.
No, my phone condition is different. It's not visible in daylight or Sunlight. It's visible on gray, read and blue backgrounds. On 80% and above brightness
😑
It took around 3-4 hours and during that time the phone was not in use.
In my phone Patch is permanent.. ☹️
I know, it is very irritating to see that big patch on the screen. I prevent using the phone in direct sunlight since that day. The display on this phone is a serious issue. It even retains marks of content on the screen sometimes but that goes away after few mins but it still is irritating.
Hi Codename,
If you or any user here feel its abnormal or more than intended kindly visit the service center to have a check and also compare with a different device.
Again, through screenshot and video the same wouldn't be more evident then seeing and comparing physically.
