Hey did the new update fix the black screen /shutdown issue?!?
Haven't noticed this issue so far
You mean to say after the update??
Did you never have this issue in A10??
1. Do you game on your ROG 2?
2. Have you ever encountered with phone shutdown/black screen during charging/gaming
Because a lot of us are having this issue after the A10 update that got released prior to this update.
1. Haven't had this issue after updating to latest OTA
2. I game on this phone.
3. Yes, not specifically during gaming or charging. It's random.
Thank you . Please update if you have the issue because now I'm on A9 and to get to A9 from A10 I had to reset the phone for like 5 times . And if now I update to A10 and if it still persists I would have to kill myself
Anyone else having this issue ?
I have the same issue on Google dialer aka phone
@Anders_ASUS any idea what's going on ? It could be related to telephony service
I don't get any issues with the Google Phone Dialler. What happens if you actually answer the phone? If you're using BETA of the app, then try reverting back to the stable version.
Answering and receiving calls works fine for me.
It does show all calls as being missed though.
Yes calls are being categorised as missed calls.
But not all. I cant figure out the pattern.
I am using asus 6z and I have the same issue. it happens only on volte hd calls i.e. when both are on the same service provider and it connects as hd voice call otherwise it shows the call logs as it should.
you are correct.....probably
I can confirm this on RoG 2. I have been facing this issue, and been able to reproduce it the you explained.
Though I have tried the same with phone app version with my other non asus device and didn't face the issue.
Sp it could be asus specific.
@Anders_ASUS @CH_ASUS people comment on this topic.
As google dialer is officially supported this should be addressed.
Andres_Asus said they are not officially support google phone app but he said they will go through the issue.
That's, great. Please keep us, everybody, posted here of further developments. @chaithanya.gchaithanya.g
They don't have to support Google dialer. They only have to support part of the OS which is causing this misbehavior.
And they should atleast update the telephony service with this
