Phone can't recognize fingerprint

Just bought an Asus Zenfone Max M1, tried to set up my fingerprint but the sensor just reach up to 50%, no matter how many times I put muy fingerprint on it. Tried several times, clean the sensor repeatedly, still the sensor can't read the fingerprint.
