APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): Quick Step
Quickstep stops working suddenly when switching app and needs a restart. I am using gesture pill in navigation button

Clear cache and storage of Quickstep.

So its better that u move to any 3rd party launcher

Best option, use Nova Launcher.
