Dark theme in Setting menu

Even if dark theme is applied from settings menu why then settings menu theme is not changing to dark theme? Is it by default or bug which is stopping to change settings menu theme to dark theme? Any idea how we can change settings menu theme to dark in max pro M1.?

Hi there, let us know the firmware version of the device and try restarting the device.

You may also, Clear system cache.

Try the same under safe mode:

Hold the power button for 5 seconds => When the screen flashes with option => Press & hold power option => You will get an option to restart in safe mode

OS version is A9
Firmware version is .087.

I have tried in safe mode as well as resetting the phone as well but still dark theme is not applied in settings menu.

Google only implemented system wide dark mode in android 10. The dark mode in android 9 only makes the quick settings , apps drawer black.

Dark mode in every Google app will have a greyish black theme.

But dark mode only applies on settings app if your device have android 10. If your device has android 9 then you cannot change the theme of the settings app.

But Asus can change that ,giving us a pitch dark theme . That is what I am asking for
