No such issue for my device.
Did you face this problem immediately after installing the 438 version or after few days.
If it's immediately then you try factory reset the device and check. If still issue there then downgrade to Pie.

If it's after few days, then see if occured after installing any app. If, so boot your device with safe mode and see whether auto restart issue is still there. If, working fine there is problem with 3rd party app installed. Uninstall such app or factory reset device and check.

Have you been using hotspot on 438 maxprom1, if so did you face any issues?
I sometimes need to restart phone because even after connecting my laptop to phone's hotspot, data transfer does not take place and sites refuse to load.

Yes it's there. Initially it work for sometime after connection with mobile to Laptop, after some time data loss is there but hotspot shows as connected. I face this issue in Pie also.
I don't think it's helpful to post complaints here now to mods. So I left.

1. What is the issue frequency on V438?
2. How old is the device?
3. Did the phone break or fall before?
4. Also, please try "the Factory Reset" 
Settings>System>Advanced>Reset options>Erase all data(factory reset)
Please note that once the Factory Reset is completed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted.
