Zenfone 9 can't not be updated to Android 14

Hi,

My Zenfone 9 is using AT&T and WW_33.0804.2060.218. It has the notification for updating to Android 14 (WW_user_34.0304.2004.108). However, it stuck at ASUS logo when restarting then went to black screen. Restart couple times and it will back to Android 13 and says "system update failed". 

Tried manually install newer version (34.0304.2004.145), change sim slot, unplug sim. Not working.

My advice don't update to A14 and stay at A13.

Asus A14 update might cause problem to your phone. It happened to most Asus phone like ROG 6, ROG 7, Zenfone 9, etc.

Most people wants to downgrade to A13 now and regret update to A14.

Not a good news... I do like small phone and tend to keep my zenfone 9. It works well but no further system update is a problem indeed. I may change it to those flip phone since ASUS gave up compact phone design.

Yeah, Asus gave up on compact phone which is a shame. I do love compact phone for daily use and about system update, maybe (just maybe) you can go to nearby service center in your country for further assistance if you still want to update to A14. Hopefully, your phone doesn't have any problem after the update.
