Im on os 13 upgraded from os12, zenfone 9 brand new i have google voice assistant off...and this still keeps happening maybe i need to factory reset. NO ROOT

Hey @edvin941, can you provide some more details regarding the issue you're facing?

Is Google Assitant being launched by tapping on the home button?

Tapping the home key will show an animation. Google requires the Google Assistant animation to appear when the Home button is tapped even if the voice assistant is switched off.

When i had Google assistant enabled yes the animation appeared, but now that i disabled the assistant the animation is gone just the colour when i press on the home button as showen on the video...weird

yes when ihad google assistant enbled tapping on the home button launched the assistant and made the colour animation
