Possible to remove Google search bar?

Hello! I'm considering buying the Zenfone 9, but there's one thing I'd like to confirm beforehand: Does the phone let you remove the Google search bar from the home screen?
I've searched around but couldn't find any define answer. I know that most UIs other than stock Android let you remove the search bar, but I couldn't confirm if that's possible on the new Zenfone 9.

Thanx for asking this question. I was wondering about the same thing. I'm looking for a new phone and was considering either a Pixel 7 Pro or a Zenfone 9. The decision is becoming easier by the minute now.
