Names in Gallery's People Disappear!

I have faced a weird situation where after spending a long time naming people in the album gallery, once I checked them yesterday, some of them were gone!! Yesterday I added names again and today some of the names are gone and "unnamed" again! What's wrong with the gallery?

I guess the cause of this issue is that once gallery finds the same person merged previously, it automatically de-merges it and makes the new unknown people album containing the same person I had previously merged.
