Timers, alarms and headphones

I recently acquired a ZenFone 9 and so far I really like it. Unfortunately I am used to being able to turn off alarms and timers that ring by the press of a button on my bluetooth earbuds, but that doesn't work. Is it not a feature of the device or is it Apple restricting features of their AirPods for some reason?

Could you please share your device's FW version?
Also, do you experience this issue with other BT headphones or earphones aside from the AirPods?

Hello, what is FW? The issue persists with wired earbuds, haven't tried any other bluetooth headphones since I do not own any other.

You can find your device's FW version (Build Number) by going to Settings > System > About Phone > Build Number.
