Anyone else's Contact disappeared today? Seems like an expected change by Google

I'm guessing the reason I can't sync contacts right now is for that reason, although it looks like I've lost some too...

Is anyone else having issues? Was ASUS aware of this, and what should we do? It's pretty poor from Google IMO

I think my phone needs an update to Google Play Services, currently on 23.21.16 but there are newer versions.
