How is Asus on updates? Interested in the Zenfone 9

Have they been keeping up on security updates? Wondering if the zenfone 9 is a good phone thats compact still.

The Zenfone 9 is a good phone but Asus is slow fixing bugs/glitches.  If I was you I would go for the Zenfone 10 instead because is newer and Asus will be putting it's effort to the new phone.
