Is the display identical to the Zenfone 8 hence the pwm value should be the same?

Ok, but as the panel seem very similiar to zenfone 8, why du you expect it to be worse?, i have both and they look identical, no flickering

Just a vague feeling based on usage for a couple of days. Read the first reply to my question by Danishblunt who establishes that there sure can occur differences between these two models despite having the same panel.

Is there any way to check it? without expensive tools

Edit, i checked zenphone 9 screen at low bightness with s22 camera, it seems to flicker at low freq
Edit 2: s22 flickers the same way as zenfone 9

Make sure DC dimming is enabled and the phone is at 60hz, there should be no flicker whatsoever.
