I'm on the same boat with you. after the last update my wifi is just gone, tried everything I could think of or read in the forums, now the phone is unusable (locked with my google account and no way to go pass the welcome screen after factory reset because there is no wifi).
I really hope asus will take care of it with a free RMA repair.
