PowerMaster closing Android Auto

Yesterday PowerMaster closed Android Auto because it was draining battery, even though the phone was connected to the car via USB cable and it was charging.
So I disabled battery optimization for the Android Auto app, but PowerMaster closed it again today, after 12min of driving.
Is there any other way to whitelist Android Auto so it doesn't get closed? I don't see the point of closing an app used mainly for navigation, as it can lead to a dangerous situation if you have to use your phone while driving.
The phone is on the latest update and on Dynamic mode.

Hi, goto Settings - Battery - Detecting battery-draining apps - disable Detect & stop.

Same here, AndroidAuto and Waze is disabled at Powermaster for optimization, still sometimes the phone stops communicating with the car after ~10 minutes.

I know that I can do that, but I think it would be logical for Android Auto to be ignored by default, so I don't have to think about it every time I want to use it.

I have no problem with AA wired or wireless, except the device gets hot.
