Lock screen weather widget

Is there any way to remove the lock screen weather widget in Android 12?

From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon > the Widgets tab (at the top of the screen), then touch and hold the desired Weather widget to pick it up and place it on one of the Home screens

I'm not sure this helps, Will. I'm wanting to *remove* a widget on the *lock* screen in Android. It's really annoying me as, because I've disabled the app updates, the widget is showing incorrect info and I can't find a way to remove it. The weather app only has an option to control transparency.
