How to block OTA upgrade to Android 13

After my phone was OTA upgraded to Android 13, I started to have issues with Bluetooth. I decided to downgrade to Android 12. After downgrade I disabled automatic upgrades (screenshot below) before I connected the phone to the Internet.
I spent several hours configuring my phone from scratch. For 5 days I was happy with Android 12, there were no issues and there were no notifications about upgrade being downloaded. The phone was also rebooted several times.
On day 6 I put my phone to my pocket. 10 minutes later I reach for my phone and realize it is powered off. When I turned it on, it was upgraded to Android 13.
There were no notifications about upgrade being downloaded or warnings about pending upgrade.
Why my phone was OTA upgraded to Android 13 despite disabling the automatic upgrades? How to prevent it from being upgraded in the future after downgrading back to Android 12?

Hey sorry if it's a bit off topic but i can't find the android 12 files anywhere because the support page give me a 404. i've been searching for a week now and you are the only person with (i hope) the .zip. Could you send me those or tell me how i'm supposed to get them? I have the same bluetooth problems and i just need these files to downgrade.

Thanks for the reply but the xda mega link is a rog phone firmware and not a zenfone 8 firmware

Ah, sorry I didn't even notice this was Zenfone 8 forum, just stumbled upon this while looking for a solution for my Rog Phone. Blind me.

Anyway what is the version you are looking for?

i was looking for any android 12 udpate to be honest. 

I would have liked an OTA because i'm not sure about the raw files and how it work but i'll keep it in case. Thats the best thing i got so far thanks a lot. 🙂
