Data retrieval without screen?

My zenfone8 went under a bus literally. Surprisingly only the display seems dead. When plugging it to my computer it gets recognized but I can't approve the login (with the dead screen).

At the moment, I'm not interested in a 400$ aud screen repair, but just any way to get my data?

You can only try connecting your phone to the computer and then tap on the corresponding positions on the phone screen to allow access to the computer, provided that the touch functionality of your phone screen is still usable. Alternatively, you may consider visiting the phone repair shops and ask them to assess if there are other ways to replace the screen.
