I bought an Asus Zenfone 8 last May, and its NFC has started malfunctioning last week.
It disables itself, and can't be switched on. Deleting cache, restarting, disabling Wifi\Location\Mic\Cam and etc. aren't helping. Sometimes it will come back on for a few minutes and disable itself again soon after.
I've contacted my country's support, and their only solution is to put it in the lab for 5-10, with no replacement phone provided - Which will force me into buying a new one - Only 1 year after buying a new phone. This is of course very irritating, and I'd like to know if there's anything else that can be done, as this seems to be a common issue with Zenfones.
