I aam pretty sure that it's not going to happen anytime soon.so don't get your hopes high. I am saying this Because they didn't solve accent colors issue even now.
They just forget old models as soon they launch new ones also it's a part of business strategies to lure customers by making their old device crap , no proper prior tests want customers themselves to suffer and pay for the unstable updates
