The brightness slider is gone after yesterday's update

The brightness slider is gone from quick draw after recent update, however it is visible when the full menu is opened. Please see the below SS for reference.
1. Brightness slider is gone


2. Brightness slider is only visible after launching the full menu bar.

Look at your second pic. Tap the carrot to the right of the brightness slider.

Maybe try toggling it and reboot. Works for me, though I ultimately decided to turn it off.

You need toggle it. I had same situation and just toggle the switch, it works now.
