Not receiving SMS when dual sim 4G is turned on

I am facing a weird problem. Not receiving SMS on sim 1 when dual sim 4g is turned on. I am using Airtel in slot 1 and Jio in slot 2. The last option which says

Dual sim 4G

Have you tried switching place of the SIM1 and SIM2? We haven't heard that there is any issue with the "dual SIM 4G" option so hopefully it's just the combination of your two cards.
Go to a Jio or Airtel store and do some more testing with a borrowed sim. I'm hoping that it will work if you change one of the sims for a newer one. If this is the case, then they can help you in the store.
